I was born Warda Abdel Jaber, but now I go by Alex. Just suits me better in my opinion. I'm a small 19 year old with large ambitions. Florida is the only home I know. My all time goal in life is to somehow make someone's life better. I'm the kid you see lying in the grass on a cold day, rather than being inside where it might be warmer. I pick up Moby Dick or Shakespeare's sonnets before I read Twilight or Gossip Girl. I’m overly obsessed with comics and lesbians. I spend my free time reading other teenagers' short stories, and I write when I'm upset. I've been in love twice, lusted more times than I can count, and had my heart broken once, but I think I finally got it right. Since February 22nd, she's been officially mine and I never want that to change. I drink way too much coffee and I love meeting new people. I love observing human action, but sometimes like to keep things to myself. I can be sarcastic and cynical at times, but I'm no asshole. I only hate one type of people: those who are ignorant because they are too lazy to ask questions or learn the truth. I keep a journal of my favorite quotes from songs, books, movies, and even friends under my bed. I completed one year at FSU majoring in Psychology and was in the Marching Chiefs' tuba section, but now I'm taking a year to study at Santa Fe Community College.
